We have compiled here all the events organised by the Student Union for the 2024/2025 academic year. Take a look and see what we've been up to :)
Karaoke, which was for everyone interested, and at the same time it was a link between the new and old student union.
Traditionally, a beer orienteering event organised by the student union took place during the Spring Student Days festival.
The event took place on a beautiful Sunday in May and was part of a larger worldwide event. The event was organised in partnership with RedBull.
This is a warm-up event for the Summer Games, with the opportunity to take part in the same sports as the Summer Games. The events were Slip&Flip, arrowlift, box jump, pole vault and sprint sprint.
The student union got to know each other and share experiences. The workshop is a tradition for people to get to know each other better, to make plans for the year and to have a great time together.
FOXFEST is an event organised by the Student Union to prepare new fresh students for student life and to introduce them to the campus. This time the event took place on 29-30 September 2024.
20 September is the International Day of University Sport (IDUS), but it is also celebrated in the days leading up to and after the day. This year, IDUS Day took place on 20 September.
As part of the Student Days in Autumn, the traditional orienteering event was held once again in cooperation with A. Le. Coq, and instead of the previous ciders the drink was a longero.
On 29 October, we had a talk from the Rahakratt, who gave us guidance (with jokes) on how to manage our finances better.
Of course, we organised a Halloween party for our own students on the 31st of October, where students could have a great time with each other and get away from everyday life in between studying.
As we did for the Summer Games, we also organised a warm-up for the Winter Games. This time the event was in cooperation with the University of Tartu Sports Office.
At the annual winter training, the Studient Union discussed past events, planned future ones and generally had a good time together.
For Valentine's Day, the student union organised both a quiz game, where students could test their knowledge with friends, and a party. The party was organised in cooperation with EMÜS.
We organized festive gala to reward outstanding people and organizations in 9 categories. After gala there was a birthday party to celebrate with all students and friends.
An annual quiz game organised by the sports department to find out the best 3-4 member team from the university.
The event is part of the EASL Calendar. The event consists of a running, followed by strength exercises and stretches. The workout will be led by Ragnar Rooba.
