EMÜ Student Union’s project competition

Do you have an idea or project in mind that you would like to make happen, but you feel like you need a lottery win?

Twice a year, the Student Union gives students the opportunity to present projects in order to support entrepreneurship among students and give them the opportunity to implement their ideas. 6000 euros will be allocated from the budget of the Student Union to support the projects. The amount is divided equally between the autumn semester and the spring semester competition.

"The biggest thanks to the EMÜ Student Council for supporting the work of other voluntary student organizations as well. As part of the submitted project, ÜE gave us a grant that was used to purchase equipment for the surgery circle - a clipper, surgical and anatomical tweezers, scissors and needle holders. All of the listed equipment is reusable, and therefore they are for us benefits for years."

"We had the opportunity to practice professional knowledge. We needed support to build a canoe. Thanks to Student Union's support, we were able to implement the canoe project. In addition, the success of the project gave me so much respect that my friends are always ready to help me again, whatever new thing I do. This project brings future benefit to the larger community, to our own profession, to the Estonian University of Life Sciences. This was just the beginning."

EMÜ KÜS applied for support for the implementation of Environmental Awareness Days. "Thanks to the support, we were able to organize environmental awareness days on November 12-16, 2018, which included events about the environment and a greener lifestyle. The main goal of the project was to give students of the Estonian University of Life Sciences new knowledge and advice on how to reduce the negative impact on the environment in everyday life and be part of sustainable development, since people from outside the Estonian University of Life Sciences also participated in the events, it was possible to achieve this goal more widely."
